Description

This workshop is for anyone who has completed our Backcountry 101 or comes with recent backpacking experience. We'll go beyond the gear and basic trip planning to introduce simple navigation and planning multi-day routes. The course covers:

• multi-day trip planning and how to plot the trail route for you

• simple navigation using topographic map

• using trail reports to help develop itineraries

•meal planning

• introduction to simple gear fixes
