Where does my contribution go?

Membership dues go directly to paying crews who do the hard work it takes to serve our public lands. Anyone can join SMC with a monthly subscription for just $3.75, less than a loaf of bread these days. 

Does my donation make or renew me as a SMC Member?

Your annual donation of $45 or more qualifies you as an active Siskiyou Mountain Club member. Members get 10% off of purchases from our online and brick-n-mortar stores, as well as early registration for outings and other events. They also provide our most reliable source of financial support, providing over 50% of our annual revenue

Is my donation tax deductible?

All charitable gifts, including membership dues, are tax-deductible per IRS tax rules and our EIN is 27-34-18419.Learn more about other ways to give here.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes, we will send a receipt to the email address provided in the donation process. Along with an acknowledgement letter.
