
07 MARCH 2026 | ROGUE VALLEy, OR. -- Join volunteer Liz Landreth for a series of flower walks across the Rogue Valley. Known throughout the valley as "Flower Floozy," Liz has been leading wildflower hikes for over 20 years. In addition to her regular wildflower gig with the Ashland Hiking Group, she has led hikes for Southern Oregon Land Conservancy, Friends of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument and the Nature Conservancy. She has a Master Natural Certificate issued by the OSU extension.

March 21: Upper Table Rock
Join Liz for a flower hike to Upper Table Rock. Hunt for Henderson's fawn lilies, Grassland faifrage, Hounds tongue, Shooting stars, and the rare, elusive Woolly meadow foam, among many others.

April 18: Enchanted Forest
Explore the aplty-named Enchanted Forest Trail in the Applegate valley. Enjoy crowds of Indian warriors, carpets of shooting stars and a treasure chest of trilliums. May 9: Eight Dollar Mtn and Illinois Valley
Take an excursion featuring a long list of rare, serpentine endemics found in southwest Oregon. Enjoy fens chalk full of a carnivorous pitcher plant, the Darlingtonia californica. Take in the fragarance of wild azaleas and enjoy the splendor of at least a dozen more.

June 6: Wildflowers on the PCT
Take a stroll along the Pacific Crest Trail as it winds around Hyatt Lake in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. Hunt for elusive, beautiful Mountain lady slipper, with lots of other blooms along the way.
