Volunteer on the Illinois River Trail

February 17-18, 2024

Come spend a weekend with us on the Illinois River Trail and help to clear brush and logs starting from the Briggs Creek Trailhead. The work is easy and the setting is gorgeous. All you need is your overnight backpacking gear and be prepared to camp about 3 easy-moderate miles from the trailhead.

A shuttle vehicle will leave Gold Hill, OR at 8am on Saturday and will return by 6pm on Sunday. Option for pickup in Grants Pass or Selma along the way. Just email alex@siskiyoumountainclub.org to sign up.

Traversing east to west from the Illinois Valley to Agness, OR, this trail sits hundreds of feet above the Wild and Scenic Illinois River and offers astounding views of the northern portion of the Kalmiopsis Wilderness. You wont want to miss this weekend getaway on the IRT.
